Checklist for Scholarship Applications

Prepare an essay that highlights your passion for what you are pursuing. 
* If you are entering a program uncertain of your destination, be honest in your essay. Your focus will then be the value of your journey, and what skills and talents you bring along this journey.

Secure an unofficial copy of your transcripts

Copies of your tax returns, and parents tax returns.

Copy of acceptance letter if it exists

Photographs

Prepare your resume. Include items that highlight responsible behavior, accountability, interpersonal skills, and time management

Secure 2 teacher references and 2 references from outside of the school. Provide each person writing you a letter of recommendation the following:

         1. A copy of your resume.

         2. A copy of your school transcripts.

         3. A list of what you are applying for.

         4. A date when you will pick the letters up.

         5. An envelope.
