Description: RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) of the Capital Region seeks volunteers to serve at nonprofits that provide needed service to the community. Jobs range from clerical, instructors for exercise, dance, etc. at senior centers, reading tutors at elementary schools or adult education centers, friendly visitor at assisted living and rehab facilities and patient transport and assistance at hospitals. RSVP provides the following benefits to its volunteers who report their service hours: supplement accident/liability insurance annual awards recognition and if over 55 years old, RSVP provides mileage reimbursement up to $35/month.
